Video provides evidence that government, industry can produce energy solutions

(Thiensville, WI) December 5th, 2007 – A video by a Wisconsin company, The Dean Group (www.deangroup.com) is the latest edition to the US Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy website. The video provides an overview of the nation’s first “Super Boiler,” a unique industrial steam technology developed by Cleaver-Brooks, Inc., Milwaukee, WI., Gas Technology Institute, Des Plaines, IL., and The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Industrial Technologies Program. The boiler has been successfully field-tested with an average of 13% annual natural gas savings.

“This was an inspiring project to work on,” said Dennis Dean, a partner in The Dean Group who narrated and edited the video, “because it illustrates how government and industry can work together to produce solutions for our nation’s energy crisis. We’re proud to help bring that story to the public.”
